The Jurong Lake Park has made the conservation efforts like putting up sign boards to warn citizens about the do's and dont's , having a Waterfront Promenade along the Jurong Lake with amenities such as jogging or cycling tracks , fitness area for people to work out , picnic areas for family bonding and fishing jetties for people to spend their leisure time . A grand Pavilion and Lakeside Plaza to cater to community functions or corporate events . It also allows visitors to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Jurong Lake . A Central Plaza, designed with an interesting sail structure, is suitable for small concerts and events , a Children’s
Playground for the kids to while away their time amidst
the trees and greenery, a Adventure Sports Zone which features a skate-boarding rink and an adventure playground with lots of rope and wall obstacles to cater to teenagers and young adults , also an Open Ball Field where foreign workers and residents can enjoy a game of football , baseball or other variety of activities . There is also a Senior Citizens Area for elderly to work out and relax . From all those different coloured bins avaliable , we can all see that the authorities are struggling to do their very best in protecting the natural environment . However , there are always some people who is unappreciative and litter though a bin is only a stone's throw away from them . I think that their efforts are not really effective , as people disregards their concerns and they hardly publicize to people what kind of danger they are really facing should all these pollution still occur . I feel that we should either do a short clip on the dangers like extinction of some species and show it on a media webpage for the public , so as to create awareness . We should all play our part , keep the environment clean :D
